From experience we know how challenging it can be to find that one, particular pen.

I Need A Pen specialises in hard-to-find pens. Special edition pens, older editions, pens that have sold out, or ones that are only available in other parts of the world. We want to help collectors round out their collections and help individuals find that one, exceptional pen.

As more and more of our lives move into the digital sphere, we want to help keep people connected to the tangible world. The act of writing is an art and I Need A Pen is here to ensure you practice your craft with the right implement.

We have been involved in the pen industry for nearly for a decade. We founded Fontoplumo in 2012, which sells a wide range of writing instruments. Initially, Fontoplumo was an online store, but in 2016 we opened a location in the Dutch city of Delft where pen lovers can see our continually changing selection. We’ve even worked with some of your favorite pen brands to create unique special editions.

We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service. The I Need A Pen webshop gives you the ease of 21st-century shopping but you’re always welcome to contact us for personalised service. We know what it is like to struggle to find that special, specific pen. We’re on the lookout for some ourselves.

We are always on the lookout for pen collections – either from private collectors or from other businesses. If you are interested in selling, please contact us about a possible acquisition.

My thanks to I Need A Pen for sponsoring The Pen Addict This Week.

Stationery Streaming

Twitch

I love what I am seeing from the stationery community on Twitch, and wanted to write a short post today to share how easy it is to watch and chat with all types of stationery lovers on the platform.

First, head over to Twitch.tv and create a user account. You are not required to create an account if you just plan on viewing, but to follow your favorite streamers, be notified when they go live, and chat in their streams, you will need an account to do so.

How do you know who to follow? Well, if you are a stationery fan, you are in luck! The stream team at Stationery Brew has a schedule of stationery-related streams that that you can view, or even add into your own calendar. I spent the weekend checking out and following several new streamers just by using this list.

There are also full categories you can browse, such as Makers & Crafting, Talk Shows & Podcasts, Just Chatting, and more. Twitch isn’t strictly for gaming!

I had a great time learning from other streamers this weekend - especially as it relates to journaling and planners - and I plan on digging in deeper. I want to make sure you know there is wonderful live and recorded content out there, in a place you may not expect. Twitch.tv is a fantastic resource for the stationery community.

Happy viewing!
