Review: Itoya Xenon XE-100 Retractable

If you are a fan of ballpoint pens, you need to hunt this one down and add it to your aresenal.  The Itoya Xenon features the exclusive AquaRoller refill, which you can read about by clicking the link, but basically, the low-viscosity, acid free ink really makes this pen roll smoothly across the page.  The barrel is sturdy and well built, and the grip is a firm, yet comfortable rubber with ridges.  The diameter of the pen is a bit wide, so that may be a negative for some, but it works well for me.  Ballpoints are never the first pens I reach for, but this one has definitely been seeing some action.

Thanks again to Kata for sending this to me to try out!

The Unknown Pen

A reader recently sent me some pictures of a pen she is trying to find more of, but can't remember the name of it.  The only information is that it came in a two pack and was bought at a dollar store.  I told her I would post a photo here to see if the readers could help.  If you have any idea what this pen might be, please leave a comment and I'll pass it along.

Giveaway: Ohto Tasche Fountain Pen

This is a pretty cool little pen - I'll let JetPens explain:

The ingenious design of the Ohto Tasche allows one to carry it as a small compact pen when closed, but use it as a full sized fountain pen when open. This slim fountain pen measures 10.2 cm long when closed, 10 cm long when used by itself, and 14.7 cm when used with the cap on. Writes in nice, fine lines perfect for journals.
