Lihit Lab Teffa Pen Case Review

Lihit Lab Teffa Pen Case

I recently had been looking for a book type pen case that would help keep all of my favorite pens organized with enough space for a small sketchbook to be stored with them. I wanted a something that contained everything I need in an all in one case without having to grab multiple items.

The Lihit Lab Teffa Pen Case fulfills everything l wanted in a case for small portable sketching sessions. This is an amazing case from first glance. It is deceptively small and holds quite a large amount of items. I was able to hold 17 pens comfortably along with a flash drive, small stylus, iPad camera connection kit, ruler and a small sketchbook.

The inner straps on both left and right side are very secure and create a tight fit to attach your pens to. I noticed that pens with clips that rest close to the top of the cap are easier to place on the right side since the strap is higher on that side. The straps are lower on the left side of the case which limits the amount of space on the bottom especially if the pens are longer. My configuration has all my writing pens on the left and all my sketching pens on the right side divider.

Turning the divider, the mesh pockets are constructed well and provide a secure fit for items without the worry of anything falling out. The back mesh pocket is large enough to hold a stylus and a #12 5x5 Rhodia dot pad. The mesh pocket is just large enough to only hold a small Moleskine sketchbook without anything else in the pocket.

Overall

This is probably one of the best cases that I have to keep my pens organized and everything ready to go. The shiny nylon material of the case is great because it seems to resist stains or marks. It can be simply wiped down with a damp cloth to remove any type of dirt or marks. The case is thick enough to accommodate all of your pens and items without it being too bulky. The one drawback is the lack of some type of strap or handle on the back of the case for carrying. I would have preferred a strap that was sewn on the back similar to my Brenthaven iPad case where I can just slip my hand through and easily carry it.

Verdict

This is a must buy case for anyone that like to keep their top collection of pens organized and accessible for travel. This is by far the best case that I currently own and it works perfectly for me and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Nomadic PE-09 Flap Type Pencil Case Giveaway

Nomadic PE-09 Pencil Case - Stuffed!

The list of Nomadic products I have reviewed is ever growing, and for good reason: Nomadic makes great stuff. I am always impressed with the build quality and functionality of every pencil case I have tested out and use daily. My latest acquisition (with a sneak peek on my Facebook page) is the Nomadic PE-09 Flap Type pencil case, and I am so enamored with it, I have decided I can't keep it for myself.

The product pictures here and at JetPens really don't do the case justice. I knew it would hold lots of pens, pencils, and small notebooks, but I am amazed at just how many it really does hold. I took out my storage box of pens and stuffed the Nomadic to the gills - right up to the point where I cold barely zip it.

Guest Review: Nomadic Virgo-Attrezzo Pen Case

The reason I have chosen to review the Nomadic Virgo-Attrezzo standing pen case is because I won it right here a few months ago! A great giveaway. Sorry if the pictures are a little blurry I am still deciding on a new camera and had to make do with my BlackBerry.

Starting off, this is what the pen case looks like empty:

Picture 1

It is around 20cm high at the very back, 5.5cm wide and its length is around 6.5cm. The material feels as though it could stand wear and tear pretty well.

Now, on to how many pens it can fit. The picture directly below is showing some the case with some pens. There are 26 in there along with a couple of refills although it could probably take 2 or 3 more before zipping it shut would not be as easy. To stand the pencil case up you can fold down the top part, but I don't tend to do that and the case still stands fine. As you can see in the second picture down, there are 2 pouches, one on each side (of equal size). Now, these are large enough to fit spare pencil leads or a box of paper clips etc but I use them to clip on pens that I need to find easily - although I could still use the pouch itself if I wanted to.

Picture 3

At the middle in the back, the same height as the pouches is an oversized loop. The small tag that came with the case showed how a ruler can be placed here which is what I use it for, but it can also keep refills snug or if you carry fountain pens with you they could be clipped on to this - although I have never done this as I am worried I would end up taking the pen cap off trying to remove it!

Picture 4

Towards the front of the case there is a small pouch which can be used to fit an eraser and sharpener and other small things such as page markers.

Picture 5
This is a great case especially for students as it can fit lots of pens and other things you need.
