On The Road...

I was hoping to have a post done in time to run today, but it has been a busy vacation week, and I am on the road home this morning.  Things should return to normal tomorrow.  See ya then!

Review: Platinum Preppy Fountain Pen Purple

Platinum PreppyJetPens has carried the Platinum Preppy for a while now - I reviewed my first one this time last year - but this purple color popped up as a new arrival recently and found its way to my doorstep.  Crazy how often that has been happening, huh?

The Platinum Preppy is the best disposable fountain pen I have tried, much better that the Pilot Petit in my opinion, and purple was the next step after the blue black I already own.  I was hoping for a darker shade with this model, but the ink seems to have a lot of red in it.  It is a pretty color, but not really what I was hoping for.  Luckily, I love how this pen writes and feels, so I know I will get some use out of it.  Or maybe I can work some of Seth's magic with this barrel.  Decisions, decisions.
