Giveaway: Sharpie Stainless Steel Permanent Marker + Sharpie Pen RT

Stainles_sharpie Thanks to my Twitter friend @SharpieWhit, I have one of the ultra-cool Sharpie Stainless Steel Permanent Markers plus a sample of the new Sharpie Pen RT in red ink, so I am going to giveaway both pens to one lucky winner.  Rules are the same as usual, but here they are in all of their glory:

1. Leave one comment on this post anytime between now, and Thursday night at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.  You are limited to one entry.  Feel free to link this giveaway on your blog, or share it with anyone you feel is a true pen addict.  If you have a blog, I would love a link back, but it is certainly not required for entry into the contest.

2. For this contest, I will pick one winner at random from the comments section of this post.  The comments will be numbered in the order they are received, i.e. the first comment is #1, the second #2, and so on.  The Random Integer Generator at random.org will be used to pick the number of the winner.

3. The contest winner will be posted on Friday, September 18th.  The winner will have one week to email me at the address posted in the right sidebar.

4. I will ship internationally.  I know there are many international readers and fans of The Pen Addict, and I will gladly ship to you at my expense.

Thanks, and good luck!

Review: Nomadic Roller Pencil Case

Nomadic Roller Pencil Case

Meet my new favorite pencil case - the Nomadic Roller.

I really wasn't sure I was going to like this case, but I figured since I have been buying some pricier pens of late, I wanted to be sure to protect them individually, so enter the Nomadic Roller.  From the outside, it appears to be a standard looking zip up pencil case, but when you open it up, the middle section rolls out with five individual pen pockets and two smaller side velcro pockets for holding things like pencil leads, erasers, or small refill cartridges.

My original thought was that there wasn't going to be any room in the case for anything other than what is in the pockets, but surprisingly enough, there is room for a good five or six additional pens in the free space.  You can tell in one of the photos below that I can fit five Uni Style Fit multi pens in the case along with the five pens and refills I already have rolled up.

I have had this in my work backpack for a good month now, and the nylon shell still looks brand new.  That is too short of a time frame to give a real durability assessment, but it looks to be very well made, and there are no early signs of breaking down.  If you are looking for some individual pen protection plus a little added storage, I can't reccommend the Nomadic Roller enough.
