One of the main topics of discussion I have had with my co-workers at JetPens is what exactly do we want to do with The Pen Addict? The original thought was to create a new blog on JetPens.com and essentially relocate all new Pen Addict content over there. Well, there is definitely going to be a new blog at JetPens.com in the very near future, but we have come to the realization that it would be best to keep The Pen Addict up and running as it always has right here at penaddict.com.
So, what does this all mean?
First off, I am going to get to work posting content as I always have here. The Pen Addict is essentially going to be the exact same blog you have come to know over the past few years. I will continue to review products - both JetPens products and non-JetPens products - have giveaways, post Ink Links, and have guest bloggers. Basically, this means it will be business as usual at The Pen Addict.
Secondly, what is going to change? Nothing in the near term, other than some design updates. I work with some talented people and we are going to work together to update the layout of the blog. This likely won't happen for months down the line, but if you see design changes appear, just know that we are working on making the blog better.
Finally, I want to make clear that my opinions remain my opinions despite the fact that I have a new employer. I have always been open, honest, and unbiased about the products I have reviewed in the past, and that is going to continue just the same. If I love a product, I'll tell you. If I don't, I'll tell you that too. Pens and paper are such a personal thing, and everyone has different tastes. This is how I have always run this blog in the past, and there will be no change in that in the future.
Well, that is it in a nutshell. I'm excited to keep The Pen Addict going exactly as is. Time to get cranking on new content!
