One of my favorite under the radar Retro 51 release last year was the Ombre series at Goldspot. The bright gradient colors look fantastic, and I grabbed my favorite, Periwinkle Pixie, to give away on the blog. Read the rules below and enter away!
PIUMA Pocket Fountain Pen - Small Pen, Big Nib! - Now on Kickstarter (Sponsor)
The new PIUMA Pocket Fountain Pen by California-based ēnsso, is the answer to the convenience of small pens without sacrificing comfort and writing experience.
The main goal of the design was to create a super compact pen that would transform into a regular-size pen when posted. It features a large number 6 nib from Peter Bock (Germany) in EF, F, M, and B sizes. The pen is machined from solid blocks of titanium, brass, and aluminum. Titanium pens are machined from grade 5 titanium, which is usually used in the aerospace industry. The brass version is free of lead and the aluminum is 6061-T6 anodized in matte black. It accepts standard international ink cartridges and bulb (aerobatic) converters.
The design of PIUMA Pocket derives from classic cigar-shaped pens. It has a minimalist approach with attention to detail. It features wide threads that allow a smooth and fast uncapping and posting.
PIUMA Pocket starts at just $49 and is offered on Kickstarter at 40% discount of the future retail price. Pens will be shipped in July 2021.
My thanks to ēnsso for sponsoring The Pen Addict this week.
